EVA crafts are a wonderful way to teach young children about shapes and colors at the same time! With the right tools, cut out stars, hearts, circles, squares, rectangles, and flowers in different sizes and shades. Start arranging the shapes, and your child will follow your lead. Try sorting first by shape and then by color.
After you’ve gone through a few sorting exercises together, give your child space to arrange the shapes on their own. You might even notice them sorting independently, without being prompted—they may do it "correctly” or create a unique design of their own.
