Embroidery is part of the Bulgarian folk costume, both in men’s and women’s clothing throughout Bulgaria. Depending on the embroidered motifs, the used technical methods, compositional solutions and colors determine the characteristic stylistic features of the costumes from the different folklore regions of Bulgaria.
